Colt’s Background

Colt grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, before moving to Missouri. As a child, he loved climbing desert mountains, looking for rattlesnakes to turn into snake skins. His childhood love for the world of superheroes, comics, Star Wars, and video games is still a passion he enjoys.

In 2013, Colt started working as a subcontractor with Nick and Scott before they created Log Masters. The photo to the left depicts the youth of these hard-working guys.

During his early years, he focused on log home repair and received training in various restoration techniques, such as chemical stripping, sandblasting, staining, chinking, and log rot repair.
