Intro

Are you a skilled carpenter or painter who is interested in traveling? Do you live in the countryside off-grid and want to make some extra money? Then I recommend applying for this position. Need experience? No problem. Depending on location, apprenticeships are available starting at $18-20/hour.

Position Offers

We offer all employees sick leave, Aflac, and tax-free general per diem when over an hour from the company location or your home (whichever is closer). We provide the tools, equipment, materials, trailers, and transportation. Download the Log Masters Job Duties and Abilities Expectations to learn more about the expectations.

PROMOTING

Typically, we promote from within and look for those with exceptional work ethic to lead. The pay increase can be frequent as one demonstrates or develops skills in the first year. Have the skills to be a crew chief? We’re always looking for that. Let’s talk about that $25-30/hour.

We seek skilled carpenters, painters, or log home restoration experts interested in a work-travel life. Does your spouse enjoy staying home with the kids? Perhaps you homeschool your kids and have considered living in your camper full time? Why not bring the family and stay near the job site?

Successful Candidates

Successful candidates for this position will be self-disciplined with a desire to learn and complete assignments safely, while adhering to policies and procedures of Log Masters Restorations using good communication and organizational skills with inventory needs. Within the first 90 days, as an apprentice, you will be required to know the basic job site set up, work safety, & clean up procedures and will need minimal direction in these areas. Employees willing to pay attention and work hard, go far within our company.
