Log Master’s Apprenticeship
Do you have what it takes to work in the log home industry? Great! We want you if you’re a carpenter by trade with no experience in log homes. In the beginning, as a Log Master’s Apprentice, you will have the necessary skills to be promoted to Journeyman. Some will breeze through this level in less than 90 days. Training to Be a Log Master
Once hired, you will learn by doing hands-on training with our company leaders and log-home product leaders. For example, you’ll know caulking the way we do it. All employees will be required to undergo training from a Log Master, even if you’ve done restorations before. Successful employees will be capable of taking direction from the Log Masters.

Log Master’s Professional Expectations
Employees will be available & punctual with good attendance as part of a flexible schedule. Also, employees are to project a professional appearance in self and work by using good conflict resolution skills. Log Master’s Apprentices and Journeymen will demonstrate the ability to take direction but also the ability to work independently.
Good Customer Service Communication
When customers have questions, the employee must communicate them in a manner understood by those not in the industry. Customers will not know the terms used by those in the industry, so finding creative ways to explain complex issues is vital to the position. I want you to know that good communication skills will benefit your professional growth with our company.
