He recently obtained his Unmanned Aircraft General – Small (UAG) certification through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), allowing him to operate our drone commercially. This certification enhances our ability to provide detailed aerial inspections and high-quality visuals for marketing, project assessments, and client presentations.

Colt’s Background
Colt grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, before moving to Missouri. As a child, he loved climbing desert mountains, looking for rattlesnakes to turn into snake skins. His childhood love for the world of superheroes, comics, Star Wars, and video games is still a passion he enjoys.
This winter, Colt Smith worked on some cabinet projects during his free time, and this is a picture of the finished work.
In the seasonal downtime, Colt seeks to expand his knowledge further by diving deep into custom cabinet design and building. This additional skill set has proven invaluable in providing comprehensive solutions to homeowners who aspire to restore and enhance their log homes.

In 2013, Colt started working as a subcontractor with Nick and Scott before they created Log Masters. The photo to the left depicts the youth of these hard-working guys.
During his early years, he focused on log home repair and received training in various restoration techniques, such as chemical stripping, sandblasting, staining, chinking, and log rot repair.
