Carla finds great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, whether it’s taking them out for lunch at Chuck E. Cheese’s, watching them at the zoo, or taking them to an indoor pool. She is also proud of her daughter who is a female veteran, and has instilled the values of strength and independence in all her children. When she’s not working or spending time with her family, she enjoys hanging out with her girlfriends and pursuing various hobbies. Her hobbies include cake decorating, paper art, woodworking, scrapbooking, sewing, decorative wall painting, and restoring old furniture. She has a sophisticated “shabby-chic” style, which has made her creations popular at craft shows. Additionally, she enjoys finding crystals and cleaning them to showcase their natural beauty. Painting murals is another way she expresses her imagination and talent. In the evening, her pet parakeet, Yellow Bird, sings for her. When she has free time, she likes to relax by sketching and reading books by Dean Koontz, Nora Roberts, and William R. Forstchen.

Carla’s Background

Carla grew up around the grape fields of Fresno, California, and has lived in Ozark Mountains of Missouri for 20+ years. She has been blessed to have traveled throughout the United States and enjoys sightseeing. Carla has many stories about her travels and enjoys the occasional road trip to the numerous Arkansas crystal mines with her girlfriends.

She has had several careers: cosmetologist, nurse, painter, teacher for a short time, and, best of all, mom. Her years of experience in customer service will prove valuable to Log Masters future success. Before working for Log Masters, Carla was office manager at Food 4 Less.

Carla’s Beginnings as Administrative Assistant for Log Masters

Carla started working for Log Masters in February 2024 as the new full-time Missouri Branch Administrative Assistant. She will be the first person you speak with when you call and the one who sends “Appreciate Your Business” gifts, so be nice. LOL 😉. Her position will manage customer and staff communication between the two branches (Missouri and Colorado) and ensure that all customer calls & emails are answered promptly. We are excited to see how she organizes our company and improves communication. Look out for her fresh perspective in future blogs.
